About the Company:
Shards Protocol is a web3 user acquisition platform that bridges users across different niches (DeFi, SocialFi, gaming, etc) to advertisers and projects focused on growth. Our products include RewardsHQ, a Telegram mini app designed to drive user engagement through reward-based campaigns, and Shards AdX, a DSP/SSP programmatic ad platform for Telegram mini apps and games. We connect media buyers (smaller Telegram bots, games, and mini apps) with media sellers (established Telegram mini apps with large user bases) through engaging quest-based campaigns, driving unparalleled traffic and conversions.
Shards Protocol is also affiliated with Mirai Labs, further extending its innovative reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive campaigns for RewardsHQ and onboard advertisers and publishers to Shards AdX.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with media buyers, brands, game developers, and large Telegram communities.
- Drive revenue by closing advertising campaigns for RewardsHQ and expanding partnerships across Shards Protocol's product suite.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at advertising agencies, gaming studios, blockchain projects, and digital communities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, and development) to align sales strategies with product capabilities and market demand.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and drive continuous growth.
- Develop and refine sales processes, including creating on-call and off-call SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency in client engagement.
- Represent Shards Protocol at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
What you will need
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in senior sales roles within the ad tech, blockchain, gaming, or digital marketing industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Strong network of contacts within the advertising, media buying, and gaming communities.
- Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, DSP/SSP platforms, and blockchain-based ad solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and lead a sales team towards ambitious goals.
- Experience in developing sales processes and crafting on-call and off-call SOPs.
- Experience in software sales is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge with advertising tech.
- Knowing the right metrics to optimize and scale the sales process.
- Familiarity with the blockchain gaming landscape and Web3 technologies.
